After trying for 48 hours to switch it on (I kid you not!) I asked my son to help. He came over and showed me how it all worked . . . . 2 days later I gave it to him and ever since I've been very happy with my Tesco basic phone which makes and accepts phone calls and texts!
I love your descriptions and photos of Venice; it's funny, but I never imagined it as a crowded place, just silent gondolas drifting along quiet canals.
I visited Prague once - a beautiful, historic place - but also covered in graffiti, some of it very artistic but nevertheless defacing some lovely architecture.
Love that photo of your happy little grandson. xxRamblerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00914227535503925006noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-396646580153271430.post-33777185741857208882016-03-15T20:56:25.976+00:002016-03-15T20:56:25.976+00:00Just dropping in to say I always look to see if yo...Just dropping in to say I always look to see if you have a new post. I had to comment on this one as I have only been to Venice once in the early 70s and it was crowded then too. I took lots of pictures, but left the film in my camera, and sadly that was later stolen, so I never had a chance to look at them, so enjoyed yours vicariously!Lynnnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-396646580153271430.post-77767643725904494932016-03-14T20:17:23.437+00:002016-03-14T20:17:23.437+00:00I love the floating market boats, reminds me of th...I love the floating market boats, reminds me of the floating market from Neil Gaiman's "Neverwhere"Simon Douglas Thompsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16331409652996600049noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-396646580153271430.post-14239299931250830902016-03-14T20:09:51.211+00:002016-03-14T20:09:51.211+00:00It sounds like you had a lovely trip.
